Representative Squad Program
The Bendigo Amateur Soccer League Representative Program aims to assist in enhancing players skill, ability, and confidence, as well as education on the game, whilst continuing to foster a love of the sport and playing for maximum enjoyment.
To be eligible for a place in this program, players must be registered and play with their local BASL club.
There are many benefits of joining our Representative Squads, such as the obvious opportunity to test your skills and ability, but additionally our program typically offers:
- Boys & Girls FC Tournament in Bendigo (March 2024 23rd and 24th)
- CLFA Country Championships Tournament in Mildura over the Kings Birthday Weekend
- Players Award Evening Celebration
Coach DevelopmentCoach development is an extremely important part of our program. Not only are we training and developing the players, we are also developing our coaches. To support our coaches, 'AFC/FFA A Diploma' holder, Louise McColl supports our Rep Development Squad coaches with training programs and provides on-site support throughout the program. In addition, our coaches are each provided funding to attend formal coach training programs throughout the year, to improve their knowledge and ability to provide the best opportunity for our developing players. | Country ChampionshipsCountry Championships is Victoria's premier regional tournament, showcasing the states 10 regional associations. After a successful competition hosted in Ballarat during 2023, we are looking forward the 2024 competition which will be held in Mildura.
