Coach Development

Coach development is an extremely important part of our program. Not only are we training and developing the players, we are also developing our coaches.

To support our coaches, BASL Technical Director & FFA Coach Educator, Louise McColl supports our Rep Development Squad coaches with training programs and provides on-site support throughout the program.

In addition, our coaches are each provided funding to attend formal coach training programs throughout the year, to improve their knowledge and ability to provide the best opportunity for our developing players.

Country Championships

Country Championships is Victoria's premier regional tournament, showcasing the states 10 regional associations. After being hosted in Geelong in 2021, we await confirmation of the event location for 2022 Country Championships for our Representative Squads.

We will continue to keep you informed of forthcoming updates, but due to the large scale of this tournament it is recommended you book your accommodation as soon as possible.

We look forward to publishing more details around opportunities for the 2022 program and welcome your feedback as we continue to enhance opportunities for player development.
